Child and Extra Exercise

Child health and physical fitness really go hand in hand.  The majority of children receive their exercise from everyday physical activities and exercise at school.  Even walking to school helps along with physical education periods and perhaps even dance lessons or football and sports practice.  Playing at break times also helps add to their fitness.  Getting regular exercise is paramount to child health.  They gain greater physical and mental benefits and of course more beneficial health.

The various types of exercise whatever they might be increase the child’s metabolism and help to regulate the body fat thus ensuring the child will be less likely to be overweight.  With this healthy outlook there is less risk of high blood pressure; lower cholesterol levels and a lesser risk of developing type II diabetes or disease of the heart are all additional benefits.  Your child will become leaner and develop stronger bones and muscles.  The child’s sleep patterns should also improve.

Unfortunately some children have a negative attitude when it comes to exercise.  Whereas others will run and run until they are exhausted they will stay away form anything active. If this is the case then the parents and family should be sure to encourage them.
